Welcome to Nordic Preschool
My name is Nina and it is my privilege to lead a space that honours the beauty of early childhood. I understand that choosing a preschool is one of the most important decisions a parent can make and every parent is simply trying to find the best fit for their child. At Nordic, we focus on the little things like the tone of our voices, the rhythm of our routines, the way a child feels when they walk through our doors because those little things shape big feelings, and big feelings shape who we become.
With over a decade of experience in early childhood education, I’ve always believed that every child has a unique rhythm. It’s our role as adults to slow down, tune in, and walk alongside them. Education should not just prepare children for school, but it should also help them build confidence, emotional strength, and a deep sense of belonging.
At Nordic, we believe in creating calm and meaningful environments where children feel safe to explore, express themselves, and grow at their own pace. Senior Teacher
Teacher Rina
With 20 years of experience in Early Childhood Education, Teacher Rina has dedicated her professional life to supporting the growth and development of young children. Her journey began with a strong desire to understand the impact of early learning, which led her to pursue a Diploma in Preschool. This deepened her knowledge of how she can nurture children from their earliest years. She also holds a Degree in Childhood and Career Guidance Counselling, which has equipped her with the tools to support children not only in their learning but also in their personal development. She believes in creating a wonderful learning journey for every child, while working closely with their parents to build a strong and supportive foundation for the future. In her free time, she finds peace in listening to music, spending quiet moments in self-reflection, or getting lost in the pages of a good book - simple joys that keep her grounded and inspired.

Wei Laoshi
Wei Laoshi graduated from the National Institute of Early Childhood Development (NIEC) in Singapore and brings with her over four years of experience in the early childhood education field, with a specialisation in Chinese Language. Her deep passion for teaching is reflected in her dedication to fostering a warm, caring, and inclusive classroom environment where children feel safe, valued, and a strong sense of belonging. She believes that early childhood is a crucial stage in a child’s development and strives to make each learning experience meaningful and enjoyable. Wei Laoshi goes beyond academic instruction. She is committed to instilling positive values and habits in her students, such as independence, self-discipline, responsibility, and mutual respect. Understanding the importance of collaboration between school and home, Wei Laoshi actively engages with parents to build strong, trusting partnerships. She firmly believes that consistent communication and cooperation with families significantly contribute to a child’s overall growth and long-term learning success. Her approachable nature and commitment to each child’s holistic development make her a valued educator and a trusted partner in every child’s learning journey.

She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Early Years Education and is passionate about integrating arts, crafts, and music into her teaching approach. Skilled in designing age-appropriate and engaging activities, Yii Laoshi encourages young learners to explore their imagination while supporting the development of essential life skills. Her classroom is often filled with the joyful rhythm of songs, creating a dynamic and enjoyable environment where children thrive. A strong advocate of play-based learning, she fosters creativity through positive interactions and hands-on experiences.
